A great place to start if new to Pilates to learn the basics without the pressure of a class scenario.

Or if you have mat/reformer experience try out the full range of studio equipment: Chair, Cadillac, Barrels.

The Reformer is perhaps the most popular of Joseph Pilates inventions. It’s essentially a bed-like frame with a sliding carriage, adjustable springs for resistance and a system of ropes and pulleys. It can both challenge and support you, making it suitable for all levels. The adjustable resistance mean that exercises can be easily modified to suit individual needs.

Classes are kept to a maximum of 7 so that your instructor can keep a close eye on everyone in the class.

If you’ve never done reformer before, it’s a good idea to have a 1:1 first to be introduced to this amazing piece of equipment!

Matwork is a staple of any Pilates practice. It’s a great place to start to learn the basic principles without the distraction of equipment. You will be using your own body weight and gravity to provide resistance. Small equipment such as balls, weights, foam rollers and bands can be added to increase challenge.

Classes are kept to a maximum of 12. Mats and equipment are provided.

There is a zoom option available, so you can join online or receive a recording afterwards to follow in your own time.

A studio session is a small group session (3 people max) using all the Studio Equipment; Cadillac, Chair, Barrels, and Reformer.

The session will be specifically tailored to your individual needs, goals and body. You will move between the pieces of equipment for the various exercises. This system allows for a vast repertoire of exercises that can be modified and progressed to meet your specific needs.

It’s a great way to improve your understanding of Pilates, while focusing on any individual needs.

A degree of autonomy is required, as your instructor will be moving between the group participants.
